Alert reader Ed sends me this singular item from the June issue of the magazine ID, a bit of (cough) "conceptual art" entitled Personal Church:
...it received an honorable mention. I'm wondering whether it might be the first item of "religious" nature to garner one of their awards since the depths of 1970s church design. Definitely NOT POD, if you ask me.It has the potential to PODdity, though--just imagine a version which is printed with images of a Gothic cathedral interior on the inside. That way the next time you're at, say, the Taj Mahoney, you can pretend you're at Chartres!
